183/365

A little pre-4th fun at the park. Am I blessed with gorgeous kids or what???

Day 172

172/365

One of the first times we have captured proof in pictures that Will loves to aggravate his sister. I guess that's what big brothers are for.

Day 153

153/365

I love these tender moments between brother and sister. I can't get enough!

Day 152

152/365

Occasionally when we have a photo shoot with friends, Will and Gemma will come along for the ride. I always try to dress them cute because, since we are always somewhere pretty, you never know when a photo op for them will come along as well after the official shoot. Here Will and Gemma are playing at Waveland. I love these shots of brother and sister love. They have a bond like I never imagined.

Day 140

140/365

The Rhino's soccer season has about come to an end. We arrived for the scrimmage game a little early for our last chance at a soccer photo op. We couldn't let the season end without showing you the biggest Rhino fan of all.

Day 138

138/365

Our messy, messy eater. The first parenting class we ever took said that kids learn by playing with their food, so we try to go with the flow. Gemma has tried acorn squash, peas, green beans, and sweet potatoes. Carrots are next on the list. Our hope is that by trying veggies first, she will acquire a taste for them. If Will thinks they are yucky when we are feeding her, he is instructed to say, "Mmmm. Yummy," which I hear about every time. We are doing our best to teach her to be the healthy one. Unfortunately for her, Will has the "handsome and skinny one" covered. I foresee jealousy issues in the future.

Day 130

130/365

A lot of firsts for Gemma lately...from starting to eat food, to sleeping in her own bed. Now riding in the shopping cart for the first time. She hates her car seat because she can't see what's going on. They say that you can see glimpses of a person's personality at this age that won't ever change. I have a feeling that Gemma will always be right in the thick of things. She won't miss much in life!

Day 107

107/365

We had such a great shoot at the Lexington Cemetery the other day that we wanted to try it again. I had a couple more outfits that we hadn't had time for. Unfortunately a few days makes a big difference in the flowers. We still managed to get a couple good pics, however. I love my kiddos!

Day 104

104/365

About 2 years ago I learned that the Lexington Cemetary has the most awesome tulips in the spring and twice I have missed them. But not this year! (That's the sad thing about tulips. They only last a few days.) Of course, my subjects this year were sweeter than ever too. I think these join the ranks of some of my all-time favorite photos.

Day 98

098/365

Big Brother, Little Sister

This was one of only a couple outfits that I bought Gemma before she was born. Aside from Gemma's health, the prayer I have prayed the most for her is that she would be close to her brother. It looks like it's working!

Day 67

067/365

Any excuse for a party! We tried to eat Cajun for Mardis Gras, but the line was out the door, so we ended up at a pizza joint we don't normally go to. When you can't celebrate the way you want, you can always stage a photo! Unfortunately, Will keeps asking when we get to eat the cake so he can find the baby and win. Next year, Will. Next year.

Day 47

047/365

I thank God every day that they adore each other so much. I pray that it stays that way!
