Happy Cinco de Mayo! A sombrero was in order, but none could be found. Instead, we have Aldi salsa (a new favorite) on armadillo fabric that will some day be the back of a cowboy/cowgirl quilt for one of my little ones.
We celebrated with a small group game night, complete with chicken tortilla soup (recipe compliments of Aldi chicken stock) and virgin margaritas.
It's always fun to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, but Mexican is good with us any time of the year!
