Day 111

111/365

Easter Fun. The cold and rain is trying to ruin it, but we won't let it! We are finding the few minutes of sunshine and making the most of it.

Day 110

110/365

Will has been saving his money for about three months to buy a Monster Truck Ring. When he finally had enough, we went to the store and they didn't have them anymore. Thank goodness for Amazon! Today it finally came in the mail. John made the mistake of letting him know it was coming. We didn't get a minute's peace until the UPS man came to the door. Of course, he didn't even have to ring the bell because we were watching out the window. Sheer joy.

Day 109

109/365

Yum! I am more ready than ever for fresh veggies. (I am usually not that ready, but am trying!) They look so good and taste great mixed into recipes. I am on the lookout for healthy recipes to help me eat them.

What is ironic about this photo? It was taken at Fresh Market, a place we love to stroll through after attending $1 Scoop Night at Baskin Robins!

Day 108

108/365

Unless soccer rains out, we are going to have a tough time getting to the church Easter Egg Hunt. Thankfully Moms Club came through with a little egg hunt at Charleston Gardens Park. Oneof the great things about Moms Club is that they don't just meet at the park. They often have cookies! Check out these awesome Easter cookies on sticks! Such a cute arrangement! Makes me want to bake...

Day 107

107/365

We had such a great shoot at the Lexington Cemetery the other day that we wanted to try it again. I had a couple more outfits that we hadn't had time for. Unfortunately a few days makes a big difference in the flowers. We still managed to get a couple good pics, however. I love my kiddos!

Day 106

106/365

Birthday Party! We've had one the last 2 Saturdays! This one was complete with an inflatable in the back yard. Will was shy at first and lead the movement to venture in to play with the other toys. From what I hear, Jack and John have the best toys. Happy 4th Birthday Jack and John!

Day 105

105/365

Family Movie Night at Vineyard Community Church, Twas the Night Before Easter

Day 104

104/365

About 2 years ago I learned that the Lexington Cemetary has the most awesome tulips in the spring and twice I have missed them. But not this year! (That's the sad thing about tulips. They only last a few days.) Of course, my subjects this year were sweeter than ever too. I think these join the ranks of some of my all-time favorite photos.

Day 103

103/365

Bunny Feet
(aka Bunny Foot)
I loooove all the cute little feet on baby suits. With Easter coming, we definitely needed a pic!

Day 102

102/365

Inspiration! When all else fails, I love to hang out at Joseph Beth and peruse wedding magazines and photo books for inspiration. We heard an ugly rumor that may be coming to an end and it makes me very sad. Hopefully it was just that...a rumor.

Tonight we met some future clients at Jo B's. We are looking forward to their Christmas wedding in December!

Day 101

101/365

Getting ready to crawl! She's doing the pre-crawl butt scoot. Two days ago she flipped her Bumbo seat upside down, and scooted a foot away! (No worries...I was there and she was on a soft surface!) It won't be long now. I see a lot more vacuuming and picking-up in my future.

Day 100

100/365

The 100th Day of Project 365 and still going strong! Here's some backyard fun.

Day 99

099/365

Gemma Cottontail

Day 98

098/365

Big Brother, Little Sister

This was one of only a couple outfits that I bought Gemma before she was born. Aside from Gemma's health, the prayer I have prayed the most for her is that she would be close to her brother. It looks like it's working!

Day 97

097/365

Gemma's first swing ride, Hartland Park

Day 96

096/365

Book Club! I am in the perfect book club for me...we don't read a book every month! This month we cooked Paula Dean recipes together. Yummy.

Day 95

095/365

Our good friend Linda got to come over during her Spring Break this week. She is great with the kids. They love her!

Day 94

094/365

My sweet boy has the shiniest, softest hair. He's still at the point where occasionally he holds still long enough for me to rub his hair. I was patting his head during church and though about how that's a moment not typically captured in photos that I want to remember forever.

Plus, check out that nail polish. I was feeling a bit daring. I do an awful job painting my own nails, plus my beautiful long pregnancy nails finally bit the dust. Being a color girl, the new style appeals to me. But in the future I guess I'll just have to keep the crazy color between me and my toes...unless I were to win a mani-pedi.

Day 93

093/365

Happy 88th Birthday to my beautiful Grandma Tilly, aka Grandma Apple to the kids. Will started calling her that when she kept making apple pies for us, baking pretend apple pies with him, and bringing him apples. It's also a fitting name because the house she had as we were growing up had apple trees we use to play under growing out back.

My grandmother is one of the most beautiful women I know. I hope I age as gracefully as she does! She still drives and is active at church, a true inspiration.

Day 92

092/365

The day of the Final 4 game in Mimi and Pawpaw's backyard.

Saturday, April 9, 2011

Day 91

091/365

Taken during Will's 2nd soccer practice. I was trying to catch the sunbeams, but they were too fast for me!

Day 90

090/365

We are starting on Gemma a little sooner. She may be a big UK fan. Looking forward to buying her first little cheerleader outfit!

Day 89

089/365

Will was totally posing here. I just wanted one shot and he kept wanting to take more. He liked holding a ball too. He's really not that big a UK fan. We are trying, but it hasn't taken just yet.

Day 88

088/365

My sweet girl at 5 months! Almost half a year!

Day 87

087/365

We had high hopes for the Cats once they were on their way to Final 4. We were ready to riot again like we did back in college! We didn't burn couches back then. Today's wild kids have to ruin all of our fun!
